Why there is Putty (Refinish Paint Traces)?
After the topcoat, some traces of putty appear on the surface, and the edge of the putty shrinks.
why it come out like this? there are probably 3 reasons
Reason: A. The putty is scraped thickly, and the topcoat is not completed dry, especially when the putty and filler are applied to the joint interface, the drying is relatively slow and the hardening is not finished in time. Under this condition, it will be soften and shrinkage.
Reason B. If the middle coating on top of the filler is painted too thick on putty at one time, the solvent of the middle coating will corrode the junction between the putty and the old coating film, come out the shrinkage
Reason C. The up layer of putty, middle coating and the thinner of top coat ,buffers are used too much or the thinner is painted too thin
