1. Confirm the hue and choose the main basecoat.
First of all, it is necessary to judge the color difference between the front and side hues accurately. When you're not familiar with the basecoat colors effect, it is recommended to put some paint on a mixing ruler, and then add some auxiliary basecoats to check the effect, it not good, use other basecoats. So that it could avoid adding unsuitable basecoat at the time of toning.
2. Determine the type, thickness and quantity of the pearl color.
Carefully analyze the number of pearl species and the number of various pearls contained in the main hue, usually not over 4 types.
3. Color Toning.
According to the analysis, add the main color basecoat and then add the various assisting colors, stir thoroughly, pay attention to the hue performance of the front and side colors.
4. Color comparison
When comparing the color, the color plate and the car body should be in the same plane.
A. Check the brightness, observe the color of the test panel from the front and side to see if the color is too dark or too light.
B. Check the hue to see if the front side of the test board is redder, bluer and yellower than the front side of the primary color board.
C. Check the chroma to see if the color of the test panel is higher or lower than that of the primary color panel.
D. Check if the number, thickness and type of pearls are consistent with the color of the original car.
5. Color correction
Fine-tune according to the metallic paint toning methods and techniques, and gradually realize the effect consistent with the original color plate.
