Car paint defects -----"Particles"
1. Description:
When you touch it with your hand, you can feel that the surface of the paint film is rough and uneven, and many impurity particles are trapped on the surface of the paint film or covered by the paint film.
2. Reason:
Impurity particles are mixed into the paint film.
1) Dust, dirt or thread from clothing, or impurities blown from trim edges/sheet metal junctions, fall onto the wet paint film during painting.
2) The dust on the surface of the substrate is not completely removed before painting.
3) When painting or shortly after painting, the particles floating in the air fall and get trapped in the paint film.
4) The container containing paint or thinner is open or rusted, causing dust to be mixed into the paint.
3. Prevention:
1) Before painting, ensure that the clothes are clean and dust-free, and blow away the dust on the edges of the decorative parts or the joints of the sheet metal.
2) Before spraying each layer of paint, clean the surface with detergent and sticky cloth.
3) To keep the spray booth clean and dust-free, no grinding operation is allowed in the spray booth. If necessary, the surrounding area and the ground of the spray booth can be wetted to ensure the normal operation of the air filtration system.
4) To keep all materials clean, material containers should be sealed, and paint should be filtered between uses.
