Car paint turning into white color after spraying refers to the phenomenon of whitening or fogging of the newly sprayed coating. Below is the main reasons:
1. The ambient humidity is too high during the spraying process;
2. Improper selection of diluent. Thinner that evaporates too quickly causes the surface temperature of the paint film to drop sharply, resulting in water vapor to condense on the paint film;
3. The air circulation speed around the newly sprayed panel is too fast.
Based on the above, we should avoid spraying auto paint in humid environments. If have to work in such weather conditions, need to choose slow-drying thinners, pay attention to check the air circulation speed. If the whitening is not serious, can choose to polish the defective area, otherwise, it is suggested to polish off the topcoat and re-spray auto paint.
