Treatment of the phenomenon of small holes appearing on the paint surface of the NC putty, putty or FRP

Here might be the reasons:

1. There are pores on the surface of FRP (Fiber Reinforce Plastic).
2. Improper surface treatment or sealing of the substrate.
3. The quality of putty or NC putty is too poor.
4. The putty mixing is not uniform, and the construction method of putty or NC putty is incorrect.
 

Prevention method:

1. Before painting, raise the temperature of the substrate to expel the air in the material pores. In order to prevent deformation, the temperature of the substrate surface must not exceed 80 degrees Celsius.
2. Use putty or NC putty to fill the pinholes on the surface of the substrate, spray the primer locally and polish it smoothly. Then spray the primer all over the surface of the substrate.
3. Putty is applied in several times, each layer should be thin and uniform. After fully hardening, apply a new layer or carry out the final sanding treatment.
 

Repair method:

Grind the paint film to the primer layer, fill the pinholes, spray the primer locally, and re-paint after smoothing.
