Basic knowledge of car refinish paint:
1. The color should be compared in a neutral background, and the background brightness should be suitable for the surrounding environment.
2. For silver-pink series, the first choice should be quasi-silver powder.
3. First adjust the color brightness, that is, the color depth, use white (silver pink) or black or other colors to adjust the color brightness, and note that the hue saturation will also change accordingly.
4. When the brightness is close to that of the color palette, use the auxiliary color to adjust the hue, pay attention to the saturation not lower than the color palette.
5. Adjust the saturation with white and black.
6. The three elements of color, when one of them is adjusted, the other two will usually change too.
7. In addition to achromatic color (white, silver, black, etc.), the color formula should not exceed four colors.
8. The spray color shall prevail for the control color palette, and the paint film should be thoroughly dried.
9. The swatches should be waxed and cleaned before they can be compared.
10. The area of the sprayed test panel should not be less than 7cm-15cm, and if necessary, it is best to be consistent with the standard panel area.
11. The test board and the standard board should be in the same plane during color comparison.
12. The colorimetric light source should be based on natural light, and others can only be used as a reference.
