The original paint is all the paint in the car when it leaves the car factory. And in the process of spraying the car body, the paint used at different stages will also be different, especially for different paints, different paint layers will be formed. Electrophoretic layer: There are two main functions of the electrophoretic layer, one is to prevent rust, and the other is to improve the bonding force of the paint layer. The anti-rust ability of the electrophoretic layer is the most important and the most critical among the four paint layers of car paint.
Intermediate coating layer: Its function is relatively simple, it has anti-ultraviolet rays, protects the electrophoretic layer, improves the anti-rust ability, and takes into account the smoothness and impact resistance of the paint surface. Finally, it can also provide some adhesion for the color paint layer.
Color paint layer: Attached to the intermediate coating layer, which strengthens the anti-corrosion protection of the car body, and also shows the hue, so that the various colors we see are displayed on the color paint layer. The quality of this layer spraying directly determines the expressiveness of the car body color, and the functionality is very important.
Clear coat paint layer: The clear coat/varnish layer is the outermost layer of the car paint, a transparent paint layer that we can touch directly with our fingertips. The main function of varnish is to improve the gloss of the paint surface, enhance the texture, prevent ultraviolet rays, and prevent minor scratches.
