Precipitation means that during the storage of car paint, some fillers and pigments will settle down to the bottom of the cans. As a result, the auto paint is no longer uniform on the whole, and the effect of spraying turns out very poor. it's usually caused by the following reasons:
1. The temperature in the storage places is too high or the temperature difference is too large.
2. The paint has exceeded the shelf life and the product has deteriorated.
3. Automotive paint is stored for too long after dilution.
4. The paint is not stirred frequently on the paint mixing machine.
5. Pigment fillers used in color paints are not ground finely and poorly dispersed.
So how to avoid the precipitation problem?
The ideal storage temperature is 20-25 degrees Celsius, placed in a cool and dry place, and stored with a sealed lid; it is recommended to replenish the stock regularly, and the first to be put into the warehouse is used first to avoid expiration date; do not add thinner before storing; if the mixing machine stops for using a period of time, the color basecoats should be stirred for about 15 minutes, and it needs to be fully stirred before use.
