Treatment of the scaly peeling phenomenon on the surface of the paint film
Maybe you have noticed the scaly peeling phenomenon on the surface of the paint film. Actually it is due to the loss of bonding force between the top paint layer and its lower surface, forming fragile paint flakes.
Prevention method：
1. Make sure to carefully clean the surface of the substrate to be sprayed, and wipe the surface dry with a clean cloth.
2. Be sure to use the correct metal surface treatment agent on the surface of the steel or aluminum substrate, and spray paint within 30 minutes after the substrate treatment to prevent the substrate surface from rusting.
3. Before spraying, the surface of the substrate should be polished, and all abrasive dust should be removed.
4. During spraying and drying, ensure that the surface is in the recommended temperature range.
5. Use the correct process to spray the primer, and ensure that the primer is fully cured before continuing to spray the topcoat.
6. Use the recommended type of thinner to dilute the paint to the correct viscosity range. On the premise of ensuring that the paint can be fully atomized, the pressure of the compressed air should be adjusted as low as possible.
7. The paint layer should be thin and wet each time.
8. Suggest on using matching products produced by the same paint manufacturer.
Repair method:
Remove the peeling paint film, clean the bottom surface, and then spray again.
